The allure of qipao

Embraced by the working women of Hong Kong in the 1950s, the form of this elegant Chinese gown still resonates with present-day couturiers.

In this video New York-based Vivienne Tam talks about giving the classic qipao a fresh spin to suit the tastes of her international clientele.
