The first 24-hour bookstore in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, will open on Saturday.
Named 1200bookshop, the 150 square meter bookstore has a capacity of 60 customers and offers a 32 percent discount on books at night and free coffee between 2 am and 6 am, Guangzhou Daily reported.
The store must have a monthly revenue of 120,000 yuan ($19,359) to break even. An initial investment of 1.2 million yuan came from 30 shareholders.
