A man who lost his arms in an accident when he was a child was caught on July 2 by traffic police driving his car by using his feet, Chutian Metropolis Daily reported.

The man, surnamed Guo, 45, a resident of Xiantao, Hubei province, lost his arms at age 7 when he accidentally touched a power line. He then learned to do many things with his feet.

A few years ago, he saw one of his friends drive a car that had automatic transmission and thought that he could drive it by using his feet.

After some practice, Guo drove the car skillfully with his feet, but he could not qualify for a driver's license. In recent years, he claims to have driven safely about 160,000 kilometers.

Police stopped him on July 2 when he drove on a highway out of the city. He was fined 500 yuan ($80) for driving without a license.
