CSOFT, GDUFS language center announce partnership

Multilingual localization and language technology solution provider CSOFT announced recently it is to partner with an arm of the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.

Zhong Weihe, president of the university, said the Center of Collaborative Innovation for Language Studies and Services under the university will join with the Beijing-headquartered firm, in a bid to boost training and research.

CSOFT, which offers services to a number of Fortune 500 companies and helps leading Chinese firms move into international markets, will provide internship opportunities for the university's students and be involved in in-depth research with the center's faculty members in translation, interpretation and cross-cultural studies.

Shunee Yee, CEO of CSOFT, said, "The company will utilize its language technologies, expertise in terminology management as well as its language experts to help the leading university foster more high-level personnel."
