Driver refuses blood test after accident

A woman drank six bottles of Sprite and refused a blood test after her SUV hit two people in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province on Sunday, killing one and injuring another, Modern Express reported.

Witnesses said that after the accident, the woman bought six bottles of soda at a nearby gas station and drank them all, then vomited.

When police arrived, she refused to go to a hospital for blood testing.

Police later took the woman to a hospital for a blood test and are investigating the case.

A man on a motorcycle who was struck by the woman's SUV was declared dead at the scene. Another victim, a woman, was sent to a hospital.
