The family of a man who died after an argument with a nurse and an onlooker at a hospital in Ronxian county, Sichuan province, where he sought treatment, has reconciled with the hospital, according to Western China Metropolis Daily.

The newspaper did not disclose what agreement the sides reached.

Around 7 pm on Feb 3, Zhang Jingli, a 51-year-old resident of Rongxian who was experiencing a cough and running nose, went to the Huakang Hospital in the county to get an intramuscular injection.

It was near time for Li Ting, the young nurse, to finish work and she said Zhang should have arrived earlier. Zhang became emotional and quarreled with her.

An onlooker tried to persuade Zhang to stop the argument but Zhang thought the onlooker was helping the nurse and began to quarrel with him also.

Several minutes later, Zhang suddenly fell. He died more than two hours later despite emergency rescue attempts.

Zhang's wife Lan Peifang said Zhang had previously suffered a heart attack but had not taken any medicine for quite a long time.
