More than 70 percent of couples of child-bearing age hope to have a second child when the country relaxes the decades-old family-planning policy, Shanghai Morning Post reported.

According to a survey conducted by an unnamed marriage website, husbands in Jiangxi province, and wives in Fujian province, expressed the keenest desire to have a second child.

The newspaper did not reveal the name of the website that conducted the survey, which said it interviewed 97,594 people across the country in the previous year.

The survey also showed that only 2 percent of the interviewees want to enjoy a DINK lifestyle. DINK stands for double income, no kids. The figure was 11 percent in a similar survey conducted in 2011.
