Inner Mongolia hosts Fitness Fair and Horse Racing Festival

TONGLIAO -- Inner Mongolia Fitness Fair and Horse Racing Festival kicked off on Saturday in Tongliao city, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

More than 400 atheletes from 12 cities and leagues participated in horse racing, Mongolian wrestling, archery, Bulu, Mongolian chess and table tennis.
During the 3-day festival, a series of traditional ethnic activities will be held like taming horse, Obo ritual, campfire evening and so on.

The annual Horse Racing Festival was initiated in 1995, attracting more than 100 thousand overseas visitors on every August 18, and Inner Mongolia Fitness Fair was started in 2009.
