It's only a matter of time. We have discovered no upper limit to the processing and problem-solving capabilities of machine intelligences. Given the current rate of development of computer technology, I think it reasonable to expect the arrival of machine intelligences on par with humans in the next 50 years.

I’ve lived in China for quite a considerable time including my graduate school years, travelled and worked in a few cities and still choose my destination taking into consideration the density of smog or PM2.5 particulate matter in the region.
