Hearing the news that the Shenzhou XIII manned spacecraft was about to return to Earth, Pan Xue, a Miao ethnic group girl born after 1995, decided to make an outer space-themed handicraft with teachers and students from a local batik workshop to express appreciation and respect to Chinese astronauts.

Pan has been living in a village of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture in Guizhou province since 2020, after graduating from university. After studying related techniques, she becomes a silversmith.
