New Orleans' Anthony Davis had 39 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocks in his first game back from a shoulder sprain, leading the Pelicans to an 88-85 win over Detroit.

Davis hit two jumpers in the last 1:14 to hold off Detroit in a frenetic game that was close throughout the second half. In only his third season, Davis set a Pelicans career-record 437 blocks, surpassing David West's mark of 435.

Tyreke Evans had 21 points and nine assists as the Pelicans made it six wins in seven games.

Jodie Meeks scored 20 points for the Pistons.

Phoenix came from 15 points down to win 105-100 at Orlando, with Brandon Knight having 28 points and seven assists in his best game for the Suns.

Markief Morris added 23 points and six rebounds for the Suns, who outscored the Magic 34-17 in the third quarter to take control.

The Magic had the ball and a chance to tie with 5.2 seconds remaining, but Willie Green's inbounds pass was intercepted by Knight and the Phoenix newcomer made two free throws.

Victor Oladipo led Orlando with a career-high 38 points.
