During the press conference, Liu Guoliang, general manager of Hannover Milano Fairs (China) Co Ltd introduced the highlights of the expo, explaining that he believes the expo is a platform which enables foreign exhibitors to come to Foshan and better understand the local market while encouraging prestigious experts and scholars to help local enterprises broaden their minds and expand overseas business.

This year, the expo gained the official support of the German Ministry of Economy and became one of the hundreds of exhibitions worldwide that they support.

Ten German CEBIT exhibitors will attend the expo, bringing the latest product solutions and innovative ideas concerning intelligent urban operation, block chain, big data processing and online video language transformation.

Lead by the UK's Prince Michael of Kent, eight British enterprises will display a host of high-end different technologies including facial recognition, design simulation, intelligent building, health tracking and smart city products.
