Cultural and creative industries alliance appears in E-town

Cultural and creative industries have become the fastest growing and most dynamic emerging industrial sector. Their revenue has reached 81 billion yuan, and maintained a 20% growth rate for four years. There are 39 members in E-town’s new cultural and creative industries alliance, including performing arts companies, corporate design services, and other culturally related equipment and services companies. The establishment of the alliance indicates that a business and market oriented system is emerging. At the same time, the alliance also contributes to the convergence within the cultural and creative industry of technological, financial and other types of businesses. This convergence has a cluster effect, so the development zone can be expected to become a new home for Beijing’s cultural creative industries.
