Solitary Beauty Peak & Prince's Mansion Scenic Area

The Solitary Beauty Peak & Prince's Mansion Scenic Area includes the Solitary Beauty Peak and the whole Jingjiang Prince's Mansion built in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The Solitary Beauty Peak is known as the “Great Southern Pillar” as well as the No.1 peak in Guilin. The inscription on the peak that declares the rivers and mountains of Guilin as the best under heaven is particularly well known. The Jingjiang Prince's Mansion was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) when Zhu Shouqian, the grandnephew of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, was enthroned as Prince of Jingjiang. With the natural landscape and historical and cultural landscape adding radiance and beauty to each other, it has been renowned as “the city in the city” since ancient times.

Location: Downtown Guilin

Admission: The Solitary Beauty Peak & Prince's Mansion Scenic Area (Jingjing Prince's Mansion Scenic Area, Solitary Beauty Peak and Guangxi Imperial Examination Exhibition Museum) costs130 yuan per person; children under 1.4 meters are admitted free of charge.

Opening hours: 8:00-18:00 in winter; 7:30-18:30 in summer

Tips: Visitors can take Bus Nos.1,22,30, 99 or 100 and get off at Lequnlukou Stop, then walk 50 meters eastward. Visitors can also take Bus Nos.10, 11, 14, 18 or98 and get off at the Jiefangqiao stop, then walk 100 meters northward.
