What do you feel has been China's biggest achievement over the past five years? What's the most notable change you've observed?

The biggest achievements are its huge development, and improved living standards.

How do you view China's role in today's world?

China can play a positive role in the world. It can safeguard peace in the Asia-Pacific region and can help soothe conflicts between different countries.

Do you believe that some of China's experiences or practices could be used to solve pressing global problems? If so, what are they?

Throughout 5,000 years of history, China has made many great contributions to the world. I believe its practices and wisdom can help more countries make progress.

Why are you devoted to work related to China? What draws you to what you're doing?

I've been teaching Chinese at the university for 27 years. I can offer more understanding to Romanians on China through translations and research on its literature. I think these will draw more Romanians to like the country.
