What do you think of China's efforts to end poverty?

Editor's note: China has successfully lifted 800 million people out of poverty in the past 35 years and the government is now committed to reducing rural poverty essentially to zero by 2020. What do you think of China's poverty reduction strategy? Readers share their opinions.

Poverty is part of all human civilization on the planet. It is our duty and responsibility to eradicate it. Through science and technology, Chinese government has raised hundreds of millions of citizens out of poverty. However, the road ahead is tough and more effort will be made until everybody is lifted out of poverty. This will be finally achieved in China!
