Be aware of Abe's evil intentions

(China Daily) Updated: 2014-01-06 07:58

Comment on "Beijing turns cold shoulder to Japan", (China Daily, Dec 31)

The World should not forget the inhumane medical experiments done on live Chinese and Russians by Unit 731 of the Japanese army in WWII. Sadly the US gave amnesty to the evil doctors and scientists, and some even became prominent in post-War Japan.

Japan's political leaders should stop visiting the Yasukuni Shrine, which enshrines some who were convicted of war crimes, or else peace-loving people should join in a movement to boycott the 2020 Japan Olympics. Most modern Japanese are better and different from wartime Japanese, and such a social movement can help them throw out the right wing forces headed by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Dr B.S.Goh, on China Daily website

It is clear that Japan has no respect for itself and the world. Japan signed and pledged to uphold its pacifist Constitution. Now Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe wants to tear it to pieces. This is definitely unacceptable. The world should open their eyes and see the evil that Japan is up to.

China must stand firm. China must continue to develop its economy, technology and science, so as to consolidate the foundations of national strength and make success a journey with goals as milestones along the way.
