Engineering News Record (ENR) recently released a list of the 2017 Top 150 global engineering design enterprises. Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA) ranks first among Asia and China-invested enterprises, and second among such enterprises around the world.
POWERCHINA ranked 17th in the ENR 2017 Top 225 International engineering design enterprises published just days before, an improvement of 10 places compared with last year.
In recent years, POWERCHINA has strengthened cooperation with international organizations and outstanding enterprises on marketing and technology in an attempt to develop an energy solution for the whole industry chain, and to promote internationalization of China's new energy and infrastructure construction industry.
The ENR rankings are highly authoritative and influential within the engineering design and contracting area. The Top 150 global list emphasizes the comprehensive ability of design enterprises, and the Top 225 international list focuses on international service expansion.
There are 16 and 22 Chinese mainland enterprises listed in the Top 150 global ranking and the Top 225 international ranking respectively.
POWERCHINA will take up the opportunity provided by "the Belt and Road" initiative and strengthen cooperation with international top-ranking enterprises in order to be more involved in the global industry chain and more competitive internationally.
