The Ministry of Mines and Energy in Equatorial Guinea has signed and issued "The Certificate of Transfer of Djiploho Hydropower Station", marking the completion of the takeover of the project. Djiploho Hydropower Station was constructed by SINOHYDO Engineering Bureau 6, POWERCHINA. The project began its construction work on April 15, 2008, ran its first power generation unit on May 24, 2011, and was completed and went into production on October 10, 2012. By October 10, 2013 when the one-year warranty period following the completion of the project was over, the power station had operated safely for 675 days and generated 353 million KWh electricity with all equipment and statistics satisfactorily meeting the requirements of the contract and design.

In order to make sure the project could be transferred on time, great efforts has been made by POWERCHINA to successfully complete substantial complicated and detailed tasks. This was highly regarded by the third party inspection company, the world-reputed SNC LAVALIN.
