Scorching weather is expected to last another three days in Fuzhou, capital of East China’s Fujian province, according to a weather forecast Tuesday.

The heat wave arrived on Monday and drove temperatures over 35 degrees Celsius across the city, with the highest at 37.6 degrees.

Temperatures will stay between 26 to 36 degrees over the next three days, indicating that Fuzhou will be in “oven mode”, said the meteorological department.
