Fujian's fiscal revenue reached 383 billion yuan in 2014

Fiscal revenue surged by 11.6 percent to 382.8 billion yuan ($62 billion) in Fujian province in 2014, Fujian Daily reported on Jan 16, citing official figures.

The per capita fiscal revenue increased to 10,140 yuan, which makes Fujian the ninth province in China to see this index reach the 10,000-yuan threshold.

Local fiscal revenue rounded out to 236 billion yuan, up by 11.5 percent year on year, which is 1.6 percentage points higher than the average growth level in eastern China.

Tax revenue accounted for 81.4 percent of Fujian’s fiscal revenue, an increase of 0.1 percentage points from last year.

Fiscal expenditure in Fujian amounted to 330 billion yuan, 73 percent of which was spent on people’s livelihood projects.
