Subsidies to encourage professionals in Pingnan

Twenty skilled professionals from various walks of life were rewarded for their great contributions by the organization department of Pingnan County Party Committee, Fujian Province in September.

The selection started in March and lasted for six months, with the aim of choosing a group of professionals with technical, management or agricultural skills based on their social contributions, development potential and social impact. Public servants were excluded from the selection according to the selection rules.

The 20 professionals will receive special subsidies of 300-500 yuan per month over the next three successive years from the local government.
