Cultural promotion starts in Pingnan

Pingnan's cultural promotion month, with a theme of "Forever Nostalgia", started at Fuzhou University on July 18. The activity aims to boost the tourism industry by promoting the local culture.

Six videos about Pingnan's culture will be broadcast on Fujian Strait TV channel from August to September. The video series about local villages and history aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia and remind people of traditional culture and wonders of nature.

Pingnan enjoys rich tourism resources, such as Baishuiyang and Yuanyangxi scenic spots, and abundant cultural treasures in agriculture, marine, commerce, revolutionary culture, folk art, cooking and Kung fu.
