Pingnan Family Planning Association helps poverty-stricken family

The household of Xie Zhifu with four family members from Niuping natural village, Shoushan town, Pingnan county has been living in a harsh poverty-stricken situation for a long time.

To improve the living conditions of the Xie Zhifu family, Pingnan Family Planning Association applied and won for this family a fund of 60,000 yuan ($9,606) from the Housing project of the Family Planning Association of Fujian Province and meanwhile two other funds of 10,000 yuan from the Population and Family Planning Bureau of Pingnan county and 32,000 yuan from Shoushan town.

Shoushan also sent special staff to assist with the construction of the new residence for Xie Zhifu’s family. This new four-floor brick and concrete residence’s main body has been completed now and the whole building is expected to be available later this year, which will make the dream of the poverty-stricken Xie Zhifu family come true.
