Pingnan table tennis competition off to a hot start

Pingnan county played host to its fifth table tennis competition, Jan 4 – 5, sponsored primarily by the Countyside Kitchen, a Fujian food company, to celebrate the new year.

Additional sponsors were the county Party publicity department and the Pingnan Culture, Sports, and Press Bureau and organized by the Pingnan Sports School and Pingnan Youth Fitness Club.

More than 120 athletes from various government and business organizations took part in the competition, with the top four prizes going to employees of organizations and HR dep’ts of the county government, Huizelong Food Co and the Pingnan Public Security Bureau.

The top three individual winners were Zheng Changbi, Wu Weizhuo, and Bao Suming, with the awards handed out by Pingnan government officials Lu Dongxian, Chen Jianbao, Su Xudong, and Zhang Shaozhong, and Countyside Kitchen personnel.
