The 13th Shanghai International Youth Interactive Friendship Camp will be held from July 18 to 27 in Shanghai.

Sponsored by the Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Shanghai Youth Federation, the event will host more than 150 teenagers from 23 countries this year. More than 1,000 young people from nearly 50 countries have attended the camp since its inception.

Participants will take part in a series of activities, such as dragon boat racing, viewing Peking Opera performances and visiting the Shanghai Zoo, that are aimed at strengthening friendships between nations and enhancing cultural communication.

According to the organizers, the Shanghai International Youth Interactive Friendship Camp has grown in size and improved the quality of its operations over the years, providing more diversified activities for youths from different nations to learn about each other’s cultures.
