Xinhua | Updated: 2016-11-01 09:18
BEIJING - China's top legislature is considering amendments to 12 laws, streamlining administrative approval in several fields, according to a statement by the law committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) on Monday.

Draft amendments to the 12 laws were submitted to legislators for deliberation at the bimonthly session of the NPC Standing Committee, which began Monday.

Clauses involving administrative approval in 10 laws, including laws on foreign trade, meteorology and sports, will be amended to abrogate certain approval procedures.

Draft amendments to the Civil Aviation Law and Tourism Law aim to abrogate approval or affirmation of professional qualifications for certain practitioners including navigators, air communication officers and tour guides in charge of a tour group.
