Climber rescued on Himalaya Mountains

Xia Jianfeng (R) receives a hada, a white silk scarf symbolizing respect and blessing, from the captain of the climbing team on Himalaya Mountains (Qomolangma), southwest China's Tibet autonomous region on May 19, 2013. Xia Jianfeng, a member of a commercial climbing team who suffered from cerebral edema on the altitude of 8, 650 meters, was rescued to the base camp on May 19. The successful rescue made a miracle as it took place in such high altitude of the mountain. As increasingly more people come to climb the world's highest mountain in recent years, the rescue system here is also rapidly improved for the safety of climbers.[Photo/Xinhua]
