Handmade 3D printer

Han Bing uses his handmade 3D printer to make an item in Tianjin municipality, North China, May 16, 2013. Based on the method released on the internet, the 41-year-old by himself made this machine eventually, which cost some 2,000 yuan ($325) and took four months. At present, Han's 3D printer could only make simple items designed on the computer, like teapots and whistles. And he hopes his creation could function more powerfully by continuous improvement.[Photo/Xinhua]
