Wang's role "Dr. Wu" was specially created by DMG for the latest installment, DMG president Wu Bing said, indicating the possibility of "Dr. Wu" appearing in other superhero series by Marvel.

In the film that is partially shot in China, Downey Jr. plays Tony Stark who embarks on a journey of retribution searching and fighting his enemy.
