Vanke, one of China's largest property developers, launched its updated community service system V-LINK on Monday, its latest effort to become a city service provider instead of a mere property developer.

The latest Internet-based system, called V-LINK, consists of "We Work", "We Health", "We Learn" and "We Share", all aimed at building up a community platform allowing Vanke's clients to better enjoy community services.

This is also part of Vanke's rebranding from a property developer in the industrial age to a community service provider in the Internet age, according to Liu Xiao, vice-president of Vanke Group.

"We Work", for instance, is aimed at providing low-cost office space for entrepreneurs in Vanke's community. In this regard, Vanke will cooperate with URwork, owned by Mao Daqing,Vanke Group's former vice-president.
