Wei Lianbao is a resident of Zhijiao village, Qinyuan county in Changzhi, where he once lived alone. In late 2017 the village committee built a row of houses for the eight seniors in the village who lived by themselves, to create a community and keep them from isolation. Group meals are also arranged for their convenience.
