Zhao Shujiang and his wife, Wei Huanying, are residents of Nannao village, Wuxiang county in Changzhi. The couple grows 0.33 hectares of corn and 0.07 hectares of millet and pecan trees.

In 2016 cracks began to show on the walls of their cave dwelling, so they applied for a makeover project for dilapidated rural houses. After construction, their residence now looks brand new.
