London Olympic fever revives Beijing dreams

Two visitors pose in front of the London Eye on the faux street in the Water Cube, also known as the National Aquatics Center, in Beijing, June 27, 2012. With the London Olympics less than 25 days away, one of the key sites of the last Games has been transformed into a mock London street to capture the spirit of the 2012 Games. Built at the eastern part of the Water Cube, the mock London-style street contains some iconic landmarks of the host city, inculding Hyde Park, Big Ben, the London Eye, and a typical London double-decker red bus and telephone booth. The "Hyde Park" will live broadcast competitions through the Games from July 27 - Aug 12. [Photo/Xinhua]
