Are women-only buses discriminatory?

I do not feel this is discriminatory enough to complain. It sheds a sad light on the behavior of some.

It is a knee-jerk measure, to be sure, but it has positive side effects too: the buses get less crowded.

And let us be fair: it is not just a necessity for the benefit of women and girls. It also raises the overall level of safety for the rest of us. In crowded buses, pickpockets have a field day. There are organized gangs that work passengers. It often goes unnoticed because neither the victims nor witnesses make a sound when the crime is happening.
