Samples from the collections held by 10 major Chinese museums have been showcased at Frankfurt's Paperworld fair in Germany, in the first Chinese group show at the internationally-famed exhibition.

The exhibits were collected from museums across China including the Palace Museum in Beijing, the Shaanxi History Museum and the Nanjing Museum Administration. It's part of the lunar New Year celebrations organized by Art Exhibitions China under the Chinese Culture Ministry's "Happy Chinese New Year" program, which is also aimed at promoting exchanges between museums.

Since 2001, the Ministry of Culture has presented various activities around the world under the "Happy Chinese New Year" program in an attempt to promote the Spring Festival culture.
