chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2017-01-25 12:13

Kangding is a place where traditions meet modern life. A cup of butter tea in Kangding city can reflect a colorful culture and local history.

Film of Colors in the Cup explores the historical significance of Kangding on the ancient Tea Horse Road.

Nowadays, the Han and Tibetan peoples live together in Kangding, like Wang Zhima and his wife in Sandaoqiao village. Many Han people marry Tibetans here. This short documentary uses butter tea as a metaphor and captures charming Kangding to explore the two cultures.
