BEIJING - An extended collection of Lenin's works has been published in China, the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau said Thursday.

The 60-volume collection is an update on the second version published in 1980s, the bureau said in a statement.

With the addition of newly discovered documents, this version has over 33 million Chinese characters.

The project, which covers Lenin's works, letters and notes, was started in 2010.
