Two more H7N9 human infections reported in China

NANNING - A man has died from the H7N9 strain of bird flu in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The 60-year-old died on Thursday, according to a Friday statement by the regional health and family planning commission.

It is the third H7N9 human infection reported in Guangxi this year.

Another case was reported in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

A pneumonia patient, 51, tested positive for the virus on Wednesday after exposure to live poultry, and is being treated in hospital.
