China's most sparsely populated border town

Yumai township, located in the southern foot of the Himalayas and the border of China and India, is the most sparsely populated town in China. Setting out from Lhasa, capital of Tibet autonomous region, you must drive 400km to reach Lhunze county, Shannan city and another 200km muddy mountain road to reach the township. [Photo/Xinhua]
