PLA Navy's fleet to visit Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Malaysia

The 48th escort fleet of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy will visit Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Malaysia, a Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson said on Monday.
Jiang Bin, spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense, stated at an online briefing that the 48th PLA Navy escort task force had completed its mission and set sail from the Gulf of Aden for its return voyage.
The task force will visit Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Malaysia en route home, Jiang said. "Professional exchanges and ship open days will be held to enhance the long-standing friendship and strategic mutual trust with relevant countries, helping build a community with a shared future with neighboring countries," he added.
