Yale and Nankai University students join voices in a Tianjin concert

Yale student Benjamin Theodore Jimenez said, "Even though we don't speak the same language, our shared love for singing dissolves boundaries. When the audience started singing along, I felt truly proud to be part of this."
The performance was part of the "Daluan Harmony" cultural exchange program, which encourages visits by young Americans to China as part of a five-year initiative to host 50,000 American students for study and cultural exchange.
