Abstract and figurative
Nearly 200 works by artists who were born between the 1910s and '60s are on show at 10-60, an ongoing exhibition at the Long Museum's West Bund venue. The show examines how dramatic social shifts of the 20th century influenced artists' lives and careers, prompting reflections on the individual in a constantly changing world. The first section focuses on abstract art, highlighting the minimalist beauty of color, line, and form that defined much of the 20th-century art landscape. The second section centers on figurative works, which reinvented themselves through diverse artistic explorations. The exhibition runs through Feb 23.
10 am-6 pm, closed on Mondays.3398 Longteng Avenue, Xuhui district, Shanghai. 021-6422-7636.
