Young director support program announces winners

Wang Hongwei, chairman of the project, shared his expectations for young filmmakers: "Chinese cinema has reached a moment where it urgently needs a new, younger generation."

He added that he hoped industry players could embrace more open-minded approaches by providing young directors with comprehensive resources and support rather than merely offering them low-stakes trial opportunities or minor investments.
