According to Jiang Kongkong, deputy general manager of Jiushi Cultural Communications Co, a string of historic Shanghai buildings in close proximity to one another - Nos 1, 18 and 27 on the Bund, together with No. 230 Beijing Road East – have laid on a spectacular first Spanish Arts Festival, which has included two exhibitions about the legendary architect Antoni Gaudi, the first solo exhibition in the city of painter Jorge Rando, and now Art Masters: A Virtual Reality Experience.

"The festival has integrated art exhibitions with the city's landscape, and transformed static buildings into dynamic carriers of art... Visitors will be able to experience the historical and cultural heritage of the city while enjoying the exhibitions," she said.
