Poll launched to promote Shanghai Design 100+ program
A six-day public voting poll was launched on Monday to promote the Shanghai Design 100+ program.
Voters stand to win prizes including electric vehicles, mobile phones, toys, cosmetics and tickets for a ride on the nation's first home-built cruise ship.
According to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, the organizer of the program, 2,542 designs, including China's first self-developed narrow-body jet C919 and the nation's first domestically made cruise ship, have been collected from 18 nations and regions, including the US, France, Italy and Spain, up 19.5 percent year-on-year.
Some 300 designs related to areas like fashion and lifestyle, healthy living and city services have made it to the final round of the program following evaluations by experts.
