On April 27, China Media Group held a news conference about its recently launched documentary titled Jue Bi, which means Last Words, in Beijing.

The documentary, which is broken into six episodes, presents the last letters of the revolutionary martyrs, their family letters and their vows to join the Party. Through the display of historical materials, people concerned telling their side of story and expert interpretation, the documentary explores their firm beliefs and unchanging pursuits even at the last moment of their lives.

Shen Haixiong, the head of CMG, said sharing the spirit and faith of the martyrs allows people today to draw strength from them.

Ye Lian, the granddaughter of General Ye Ting, said the documentary not only raises a good topic, but also tells a good story. Combining the experience of Ye Ting's five years of life in prison, when he wrote about himself living on the edge of life and death, she said the documentary shows the steadfastness about his faith.

Major General Chen Zhenglie, the grandson of martyr Chen Yi'an, said the program is correctly oriented and inspiring, like a flag leading the way. He said martyrs mentioned in the documentary recreate real history, showing the power of faith.

The first repeat broadcast on TV reached 155 million audiences. The related topic was read more than 270 million times on Sina Weibo, one of the main Chinese social media platforms.
