Since its inception in 2017, the National Fine Arts Exhibition of College Students, organized by the Chinese Artists Association, has grown into an important platform for showcasing the creativity and vitality of young artists studying at universities and colleges across the country.
This year, the exhibition features over 2,000 artworks across 21 categories. The works had previously been on display in eight regional exhibitions at major art academies in Shaanxi, Jilin, Guangdong and Shandong provinces, among other locations.
The final leg of the tour, titled Blooming, has now opened at the Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Today Art Museum, in Beijing, where it will run until Sept 9.
