A hotpot hot spot adds spice to life

Tongwage's Chongqing-style hotpot brings spicy frogs and fish heads in boiling broth to Beijing for the summer season. The restaurant is decorated to resemble a high school classroom in the 1980s, and menus look like exam papers. It features live folk music every night. The soup bases are infused with dozens of seasonings from Chongqing, including chilies and peppers. It also serves several flavors of spicy crayfish.

No 55 Gongti Xilu, Chaoyang district, Beijing.
