Lots to cheer for Shanxi food fans

Jinyang Fanzhuang, which was founded in 1959, opened its first branch in Baiguanglu in Beijing in 2004. Last month it reopened after redecoration. Jinyang Baiguanglu Fanzhuang, which focuses on Shanxi cuisine, now has a new menu that includes its classic crispy duck and Jinyang-style fried-and-boiled pork.

Oyster lovers get wider choice

Oyster Talks has just launched its fall-winter menu, including fresh oysters from the northern hemisphere. The must-try dishes are fried mushroom with spring egg; roasted French chicken with black truffle and pan-fried foie gras with caramel fig and plum puree.
